Orders & shipping
Where your parcel is, how fast it moves and what it costs.

Orders placed before 15:00 Monday to Friday leave our Harris Street unit the same afternoon. Anything after that, or over a weekend, goes out on the next working day. You will get a dispatch email with a tracking number the moment the label is scanned — not when it is printed, which is how most retailers make their numbers look better than they are.
Standard tracked delivery is £2.95 and typically arrives in two to three working days. Orders over £25 ship free. Next-day tracked is £4.95 and must be ordered before 15:00. Saturday delivery is £7.50. We do not currently ship outside the United Kingdom because nicotine-containing products face different rules in every destination and we would rather not guess.
Yes. Every order containing nicotine requires an age-verified signature from someone 18 or over at the address. The courier will not leave it in a safe place or with a neighbour, and there is no way for us to override that — it is a legal requirement, not a delivery preference.
Parcels occasionally sit at a depot without scanning. If tracking has not moved for three working days, email vapesquadebay@gmail.com with your order number and we will open a claim and dispatch a replacement immediately rather than waiting for the courier to conclude their investigation.
If it has not been picked yet, yes — reply to your confirmation email or call us. Once a label has been generated we cannot pull it from the outbound cage, but you can refuse delivery or return it under our 30-day policy.
BFPO yes, PO Box no. The signature requirement means someone specific has to accept the parcel, which a PO Box cannot do.

It is illegal in the UK to sell nicotine-containing products to anyone under 18, and the responsibility for getting that right sits with us. We run an automated check against electoral roll and credit reference data at checkout, which passes silently for the large majority of customers.
You will be asked to upload a photo of a passport, driving licence or PASS-accredited card. A human reviews it, usually within two working hours during opening times. The image is deleted from our systems within 72 hours of the check completing — we keep only a pass/fail flag and the date.
A boolean result, the date, and the last four characters of the document reference. Not the image, not the full document number, and not your date of birth beyond the derived over-18 flag. Our full retention schedule is in the privacy policy.
Yes. Under UK law, nicotine-containing e-liquid is capped at 20mg/ml and bottles at 10ml. Larger bottles — our 50ml and 100ml shortfills — are legal only because they contain no nicotine at the point of sale. You add it yourself with a nic shot.
No. Not for zero-nicotine products, not for accessories, not with parental consent. Our checkout will not complete without a passed check on the account.
Products & usage
Priming, wattage, strengths and the things nobody tells beginners.
7 questions
Nine times out of ten it is priming. Put five drops of liquid directly onto each exposed wicking port, fill the tank, then leave it standing for five full minutes before the first draw. Start twenty per cent below the coil's rated wattage for the first tank. Sweetened dessert liquids will still gum a coil in half the time of a fruit — that is sucralose caramelising and there is no way around it except changing flavour.
As a rough guide: a pack a day or more, start at 20mg salt in a pod. Ten to twenty a day, 10mg salt. Under ten, or you are moving from another vape, 3mg to 6mg freebase in a sub-ohm device. Too low and you will chain-vape trying to get satisfied, which is the single most common mistake we see.
Nicotine salt is the same nicotine buffered with benzoic acid, which lowers the pH and makes high strengths far smoother. That is why 20mg salt in a pod is comfortable and 20mg freebase in the same device would be unpleasant. Salts absorb faster too, so they satisfy more like a cigarette. Freebase suits low strengths in high-power devices.
Usually not. Leaks are typically an over-tightened coil crushing a seal, liquid that is too thin for the coil's wicking ports, or a tank that has been carried in a warm pocket which thins the liquid and expands the air inside. Try a fresh coil, hand-tight only, and a higher VG liquid. If it still leaks, it is faulty and we will replace it.
Ten days to three weeks on unsweetened fruit and menthol liquids. Four to ten days on heavy dessert or custard flavours. If your flavour drops off sharply or you get a burnt note on the exhale, change it — a coil pushed past its life will not recover.
That is exactly what shortfills are for. A 50ml shortfill in a 60ml bottle plus one 18mg nic shot gives you 60ml at 3mg. A 100ml shortfill in a 120ml bottle plus two shots gives 120ml at 3mg. Add the shot, cap it, and shake hard for thirty seconds — VG is viscous and will not combine on its own.
They are measured on a puff machine at a three-second draw, which is the industry test standard, and we round down. Your real-world number will vary with draw length and how hard you pull. We would rather publish a number you beat than one you miss.
Returns & warranty
What can come back, what cannot, and how long it takes.
5 questions
Thirty days from delivery on unopened, unused items in their original sealed packaging. Hardware carries a twelve-month manufacturer warranty on top of that, handled by us rather than by making you contact the brand.
Only if the seal is unbroken. Once a bottle has been opened we cannot resell it and, for straightforward hygiene and safety reasons, we will not take it back. If a sealed bottle is faulty or the flavour is materially not what we described, that is a different matter — contact us and we will sort it.
That is a warranty claim. Email support with your order number and a short description, or ideally a video of the fault. We will send a prepaid label, test the unit and either repair or replace it. Turnaround is usually five to seven working days end to end.
Opened liquid, used coils and pods, batteries that have been charged or fitted, clearance and final-sale lines, and anything in the mystery box category. All of these are flagged on the product page before you buy.
We process the refund within one working day of the return arriving. Your bank then takes three to five working days to show it. We will email you the moment we process it so you have a timestamp to work from.
Account & payment
Cards, points, subscriptions and your data.

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay and bank transfer for wholesale accounts. We do not accept PayPal — their acceptable use policy prohibits nicotine products and accounts get frozen mid-order, which helps nobody.
You earn one point per pound spent, and a hundred points is worth five pounds off. Points post when an order is delivered rather than when it is placed, so returns do not create a mess. They expire twelve months after the last activity on your account.
Yes — any coil, pod or liquid can be put on a four, six or eight-week subscription from the product page, at ten per cent off. You can skip, pause or cancel a delivery from your account with no notice period.
From Account → Privacy, or email support and we will do it within seven days. We keep order records for six years because HMRC requires it, but everything else — addresses, marketing preferences, browsing history, saved cards — is removed.
