01The standard we work to

We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA across the whole storefront, and we commission an external audit annually rather than relying on our own judgement. The most recent audit was completed in March 2026.

Accessibility is part of the definition of done for every piece of work here. It is not a phase at the end, and it is not something we fix only when somebody complains.

02What is in place

• Full keyboard operability, with a visible focus indicator on every interactive element.
• A skip link to the main content on every page.
• Semantic headings, landmarks and labelled form fields throughout.
• Text contrast of at least 4.5:1 for body copy and 3:1 for large text and interface components.
• Alternative text on meaningful images; decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology.
• Layouts that reflow to 320px and remain usable at 200% zoom.
• No content that relies solely on colour to convey meaning.

03Where we currently fall short

We would rather list these than pretend they do not exist. All three are scheduled for the current quarter.

• The price range slider in the shop filters is difficult to operate precisely with a keyboard. A numeric input alternative is in progress.
• Two older guide articles contain tables that do not have proper header associations.
• Some third-party payment iframes at checkout are outside our control and have not been independently audited.

04Tell us when we get it wrong

If any part of this site prevents you from doing something, email us with the page and what happened. We aim to acknowledge within two working days and to give you a fix date or a workaround within ten.

If you cannot use the site to place an order, phone us and we will take it over the phone, at the online price, with free delivery.
